It’s been almost tropical in Edinburgh this week with the temperature reaching the balmy heights of 17c. These Birkenstocks have been allowing me to get my toes out for the first time this year and they are really comfy for walking about enjoying the weather.
How lovely are these rainbow coloured muslins by Faye and Lou. They have great reviews online and are much more exciting than the plain white ones you get everywhere. I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at my work for getting me these along with a high chair which I’m looking forward to using in the near future. It’s such a generous and thoughtful gift and is really appreciated.
Keeping my bedroom clutter free and minimal with a baby soon to be moving in has been a bit of a challenge. When I cleaned out my wardrobe the other week I cleared a drawer for the toaty one that could be filled with clothes and basics so that everything I might need would be in easy reach and I wouldn’t have to make trips to other parts of the house in the middle of the night.
Its warm enough again to get my favourite trainers back on without my feet freezing. These Vans lo pros go with everything and are comfy enough to be worn all day when there’s lots of walking to be done. I’m hoping this summer that I can spend a lot of time wandering around all the parks and green spaces in Edinburgh enjoying the sun.
With our bathroom renovation is in full swing keeping the house clean is a constant battle against all the dust and mess. At this time of year I normally try to clean all the rooms of the house and get rid of any clutter that has accumulated over the past year but with all the tools and bags of plaster around the house this is a more difficult task than in other years.
This flat teddy from M & S which is currently sitting in the mosses basket waiting on the new arrival. It could be any time now!
Rain rain go away, come again another day or maybe stay if we get to wear these great yellow raincoats. The first image is the adult raincoat and the next two are for the toaty ones in your life. So head out for some fun, splash in the puddles in matching raincoats and bring a bit of sunshine to the April Showers.
These tasty gooey Blondies that I’ve made a couple of times now. Delicious with a cup of tea or coffee and the recipe is easily adaptable. These ones I’ve made contain dark chocolate chips. Mmmm.
