Living in a top floor flat with a newborn has been a lot more challenging than I expected. I’m glad that I spent a lot of time researching ways to keep everything organised for any trips out of the house that we have to make as getting up and down the stairs with everything that you need and a baby can be quite stressful. One of the purchases I made before Aoife was born was this very compact changing bag from Pacapod.
It really has been one of the best things that I bought. It may be tiny in size compared to most other changing bags out there but the amount of things that fit into it is amazing. It easily holds eight nappies (newborn size so they are quite small), nappy bags, hand sanitiser, wipes, small nappy cream, small baby oil, a body suit, a sleepsuit, a muslin cloth and a small bag for wet clothes. So far we haven’t need much else but this may change as Aoife grows bigger. The pod comes with a changing mat in the back and can easily be hooked onto a pram or buggy. If your looking for a compact way to carry around all your baby changing essentials I’d definitely recommend it. Just make sure its always fully stocked with everything you need and you can’t go wrong.
