Keeping my bedroom clutter free and minimal with a baby soon to be moving in has been a bit of a challenge. When I cleaned out my wardrobe the other week I cleared a drawer for the toaty one that could be filled with clothes and basics so that everything I might need would be in easy reach and I wouldn’t have to make trips to other parts of the house in the middle of the night.
I’ve found the best way to sort out all the little things that a baby needs are these Skubb Boxes from Ikea. It’s meant that I can put all the short sleeved bodysuits together, all the sleep suits together and have a box with all the bibs, socks and mitts. Hopefully this organisation will not just help me find everything I need but will also help anyone who is giving me a hand in the first few weeks.
I’ve also used one of these storage tidy’s from H&M to hang at the back of my bedroom door creating a changing station and somewhere to put some toys. I’m sure there are lots of things that I haven’t thought of that I will need in the coming weeks but hopefully it all won’t have to take over my bedroom to much and I’ll just be able to swap out what I don’t need with things that I do keeping it all organised and tidy.
